We collect information you or your organization provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (or Global ID) when you create an account.
• Profile and membership information: date of birth, gender, and club or association affiliation, where relevant to event eligibility.
• Event and registration data: the events you register for, category/division, team information, and any documents (such as ID proofs) an organizer requires for registration.
• Results and rankings: match results, standings, and medal records generated as part of tournament administration.
• Content you generate: certificates, ID cards, and other documents produced through the platform.
• Guest registrations: for participants registered by an organizer or teammate without creating their own account, we hold the registration details provided on their behalf.

We also automatically collect limited technical information — such as device type, app version, and standard server request logs — to operate and secure the service.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate event registration, results, rankings, and certificate generation.
• To authenticate accounts and keep the platform secure.
• To let you follow events and view your registration history.
• To communicate with you about events, registrations, or your account.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Who We Share Information With

Event and registration data is visible to the association or organizer running that event, since administering the event is the reason the data was collected. Results, rankings, and participant names may be shown publicly on an event's public results/rankings pages, consistent with how sports tournaments are normally conducted.

We use third-party infrastructure providers to run the platform, including Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and event data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, including historical results and rankings which associations rely on across seasons. You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time — see our Account Deletion page for steps.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Sports tournaments often include athletes under 18. Where a minor participates, their registration is expected to be submitted and managed by a parent, guardian, club, or organizer rather than the minor creating their own account. We do not knowingly allow children to independently create accounts without such oversight.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update most profile information directly in the app, or delete your account as described above. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

8. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we rely on our providers' standard safeguards for cross-border data processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of DO Sports Global after a change means you accept the updated policy.
